  • Yes—StimIQ was built by parents of a child with autism to address real sensory challenges experienced during screen time. While it can benefit many families, it is intentionally designed with neurodivergent and sensory-sensitive children in mind.

  • StimIQ looks at sensory features within digital content—such as motion, brightness, sound patterns, and pacing—to assess overall stimulation levels. This helps parents better understand which experiences may feel calming or overwhelming for their child.

  • No—StimIQ is designed to support regulation without sudden interruptions that can cause frustration or meltdowns. Instead, it provides insight and guidance so parents can make informed choices before and after screen time.

  • Protecting children’s privacy is a core priority. StimIQ is designed with data minimization and security in mind, and personal information is never sold or used for advertising.
